2023 Conservation Seed Order

For the 2023 spring planting season, the MN NWTF State Chapter will be offering Roundup Ready Corn, Roundup Ready Soybeans, as well as Sorghum through our Conservation Seed Program. All orders must be placed by March 1 st 2023, and are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Orders must come through your local chapter and will be accepted with payment at the State Convention in Alexandria or mailed to Al Haus at the address below.

The cost of this year’s Corn Seed will be $45.00 per bag.

The cost of this year’s Soybean Seed will be $30.00 per bag.

The cost of this year’s Sorghum Seed will be $32.00 per bag.

Delivery of the seed will be to Rod Froemming and will be picked up at his address below: Al Haus is this year’s seed program administrator for Minnesota. You will need to contact him as soon as possible to place your orders. Remember, this is a chapter-driven program and the chapters around the state will be responsible for paying, picking up and delivering the seed to individuals that will be planting the seed. You will also need to prepay for the number of bags you order. The payment for seed is not a banquet expense as this is a program outside the banquet. Funds raised from Fall Raffle sales are an example where the funds may come from for payment. All sales are final. We CANNOT guarantee the day corn will be delivered. Attached you will find a Conditions of Acceptances Form that need to be completed when ordering the seed. Because of the lack of storage, once the seed is delivered, you will have to pick up orders within TWO WEEKS of notification. You will be notified when the seed is available for pickup, you will have two different Saturdays to pick up your corn. We will try to have the corn as soon as possible for spring planting. Al will contact you with pick up dates. If you have any questions please contact Al Haus at 320-249-1165 or email at alhaus@alsornamentaliron.com
